After almost three years of trying, JamSport Racing's Olly Turner was finally able to seal the deal and capture the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship racing with MRF Tyres crown at the recent rounds at Silverstone.

Qualifying would see Joseph Loake take pole position ahead of Turner on the front row of the grid, followed by Turner in 2nd fastest, followed by Ted Potts in 3rd and Alfie Glenie in 4th place.

Loake was able to lead from the front straight away in Race 1, taking the advantage over Turner and extending a lead of almost 6 seconds by the flag to pick up his third win of the season. Turner was able to pick up a strong 2nd place to maintain the points advantage he held in the standings, while both Glenie and Potts suffered technical problems of their own which would sadly see them retire early.

For the second race, Glenie would be unable to make it past the first lap as he hit strife, and an incident for Potts later in the race would see him disqualified after the event. As for Turner, he was able to keep Loake at bay until the Race Car Consultants driver retired late in the race, leaving him to take victory and seal the 2019 Fiesta Junior crown in style.

The final rounds of the season take place once again at the famous Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch on October 26/27, so make sure you join us then!
