All set for Snett!

Aaron Thompson will arrive at Snetterton as the FJC leader after the Silverstone opener where he was the fastest out of the blocks.

The Romford based driver had a fantastic start to the season with a clean sweep of pole, two race wins and two fastest laps to take an early lead at the top of the points FJC table.

Although Aaron will be confident of extending his winning streak on the Snetterton 300 circuit (having won the last two rounds of 2014 he has now won four in a row), the Silverstone races showed there is a lot of talent in the ‘Class of 2015’ so we should be set for a very competitive rounds three and four

Leading the chasing pack are Michael Higgs and Connor Grady who are both tied on fifty-five points and shared a P2 and P3 apiece at the Easter meeting. The in-experienced Connor had a particularly good weekend at Silverstone and showed his pace by topping the times in the first free practice session. However, Michael will have very fond memories of Snetterton having won his first ever FJC race there last year.

All the FJC new-comers will also approach this weekend’s double header with a little more confidence having now had the experience of the Silverstone races behind them. Meanwhile Alex Tait will just be hoping for a little bit more luck after a fire in qualifying at Silverstone meant he had to sit out the first two rounds.

The FJC cars will be first seen out on the track for a free practice session on Saturday morning, followed by another one just before the lunch-break. The twenty-minute qualifying session is scheduled for 5.05pm. The first FJC race on Sunday is scheduled to start at 12.25pm and then round four is set for 4.50pm.
