Alongside Aaron Thompson's overall triumph, there are other honours to celebrate. We should also give further congratulations to Ronan Quinn, who ends the season as this year's Rookie Cup champion from Carlito Miracco and Lewis Kent.

Quinn has done exceptionally well to end the year 4th in points overall with several podiums throughout. Miracco came on strong in the second half of the year, coming back from his Snetterton accident to rack up 3 wins come the end of the season. Kent has also impressed and shown flashes of brilliance, although he along with many other drivers has had his share of ups and downs too. Still, 6th in the points after his first season isn't to be sniffed at.

We shouldn't leave out our other rookie drivers as well. Elliot Wilson, Sikander Hussain, Bradley Burns, Ben Swift, Danny Harrison and Warwick Daden all made their debuts with us throughout the year and we sincerely hope that they'll be back with us for 2016. Their efforts and willingless to develop across the season have been stellar and it's been a pleasure to watch their progression.

We've already got enquiries for new drivers next season, so here's hoping that a fresh batch of rookies will get to contest the Cup for themselves!
