The Fiesta Junior Championship gains a new driver at its next race weekend at Snetterton, as Danish youngster Magnus Kriklywi becomes the latest driver to line up on the grid this season.

The youngster based in Bestwood, Nottingham has joined the Race Car Consultants team for the rest of the 2017 campaign after previously progressing through the ranks of karting in his homeland in Denmark. Kriklywi was able to come 3rd in the Junior class of the Rotax Max Challenge Denmark in 2015, before tackling races in the CIK-FIA World Junior Championship, German Junior Kart Championship and the WSK Champions Cup. Magnus will take the wheel of the #66 car in the hope he can make an instant impact.

Race Car Consultants team boss David Ellesley spoke positively of Magnus joining the team, saying:

'I am delighted to welcome Magnus and his family to the Race Car Consultants team and FJC.

With Snetterton being his first ever car race there will be lots to learn, but I am sure everyone within the team will offer their support and guidance to make this exciting time as successful as possible.

I am especially looking forward to the partnership between Magnus and Josh Hislop (our other junior driver) who I am sure will work together to put both names at the front of the grid.

Once again the FJC is showing its appeal to young, eager drivers looking to race and learn their craft in a highly competitive, single make junior series.'

Only time will tell just how quick Magnus really is. As mentioned, his first test comes next weekend at Rounds 9& 10 of the championship at the Snetterton 300 circuit in Norfolk. We hope you'll join us to see how Magnus and the rest of our Class of 2017 get on!
